Faroe Islands does not compile continuous and official statistics in accordance with the methodology of the indicator. All municipalities have authorised collection services and disposal sites for the public. It is mandatory to use the collection service. It is estimated that nearly all waste is collected and managed suffciently in The Faroe Islands.
