Faroe Islands does not compile continuous and official statistics in accordance with the methodology of the indicator.

However, the free and equal access to medical assistance gives women access to consult a doctor and to obtai n information about sex, contraception and reproductive health services.

Law no. 199 from 2025 ensures free abortion rights until the twelfth week of pregnancy from July 1st 2026.
