All suppliers of drinking water shall comply with regulation from 2013 on drinking water (EC directive 98/83), and the municipalities shall comply with regulation from from 2009 on waste water.
Faroe Islands is, however, is nott fully compliant, since the regulations only partly meet the conditions of the indicator.
